Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only work with female golfers?
While I do spend much of my time consulting with professional and amateur female golfers, I work with athletes of all genders in many sports. While there may be some differences in the nutritional needs of athletes in different sports, the foundations of sports nutrition remain constant and are applicable to all.
Do you only work with professional athletes?
I work with anyone who is moving their body and working towards a health goal that incorporates physical activity and nutrition. I work with individuals at every fitness and skill level who are high school age and older. You can benefit from learning to properly fuel your body to optimize your physical activity, workouts, and sports performance.
How do I schedule a consultation?

Please send an email to [email protected] or use the contact form to initiate scheduling a consultation. If you are unsure if I am the right fit for you, we can schedule a free 10-minute phone call to discuss how I can help you.

Where will our consultation take place?
Appointments can be virtual or in person at my office at 30 Great Road, Acton, MA 01720.
How many appointments are required?
The initial consultation is scheduled for 60 minutes. Prior to the consultation, you will be asked to create an account on my HIPAA compliant health platform and complete a full questionnaire. The more thoroughly you complete the questionnaire, the more we can accomplish in our initial meeting. At the end of the consultation, we will determine together if you require follow-up appointments. Follow-up appointments are either 15 or 30 minutes depending on the client’s needs.
Do you offer team or group nutrition sessions?
Yes! Team and group nutrition sessions can be provided either in person or virtually. Siobhan can travel to your location to meet with your team as one group, meet with each team member individually, or a combination of both. She can provide nutrition education talks, menu planning for team meals and travel, nutrition education materials tailored to your specific needs, and individual athlete onsite or virtual consultations.
Do you accept insurance?
We currently accept Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, and Harvard Pilgrim health insurance. For out-of-network clients, we can provide a receipt or superbill to submit to their insurance providers. Please check back for insurance updates as we continue to contract with more health plans.
